(continues below)Police, railway officials and others wait outside the carriage where nurses were helping a passenger give birth to a baby boy at Yala station on Wednesday. As the train approached Yala she had alerted a railway official on board that she was in labour and about to give birth. The train left Bangkok at 1pm on Tuesday and arrived at Yala at 8.46am on Wednesday.
